In 1994, President Mikhail Gorbachev along with Diane Meyer-Simon founded the US affiliate of Green Cross International - Global Green - to foster a global shift toward a sustainable and secure future. Today, Global Green USA continues this mission on a national and global scale, providing leadership and guidance for organizations, communities, and all stakeholders in their effort toward equitable climate change and sustainable practices.
